Cocoa West is a census-designated place (CDP) in Brevard County, Florida, United States. The population was 5,925 at the 2010 census.[2] It is the closest place to Lake Poinsett and Canaveral Groves.
Cocoa West is part of the Palm Bay–Melbourne–Titusville Metropolitan Statistical Area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.6 square miles (9.4 km2), all of it land.
